Tuesdays Nights at the Pittsboro Roadhouse we have acoustic music in the front dining room. Brien Barbour is one of our regulars on our acoustic nights.
Brien’s family is rich in vocal and musical talent. He began playing guitar and singing in grade school. His debut TV appearance was at 10. He is classically trained in both voice and guitar.
With a champion quality whistler father, Brien learned from the best and integrates this lost art with his music.
What’s Brien Barbour’s sound? It’s a unique blend of easy-listening, classic love songs light rock, and folk; with a little country and bluegrass tossed in for fun.
Barbour’s music has been heard across the range of venues, restaurants, lounges, nightclubs, bars, pig-pickin’s, inns and festivals for garden parties,at weddings/receptions, even as a strolling minstrel.
Extensive repertoire. Covers many generations of music tastes.
