Another week is upon us, which means more of your favorite local bands are coming to the Pittsboro Roadhouse Stage. We know your work week is challenging, so stop by to blow off some steam with great foods, fun company, and entertaining music. Every night is fun at the Pittsboro Roadhouse, so bring some friends and come out for a good time at your favorite place in Chatham County.
Wednesday Night Open Mic – Wednesday, October 9th – 6:30 p.m.
We love seeing our local talent perform for us, so grab your guitar and jump on stage. Join Pittsboro Roadhouse and Raleigh Event DJ for our 2nd Wednesday Open Mic Night. Whether you’re a shower singer or a regular performer, here’s your chance to shine. Don’t consider yourself a performer? Not a problem – you’ll love hearing what your friends have to show. Cheer on our performers in the front row; audience members are the key to a great night for everyone. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. this Wednesday, October 9th.
Windy City Slim and the Sunnyland Rhythm Kings – Thursday, October 10th – 7 p.m.
If you’re a fan of classic Chicago blues, this band is for you. Each song is a story for Windy City Slim and the Sunnyland Rhythm Kings, and they’re excited to perform for you this Thursday, October 10th. The improvisation of Slim, Chris Turner, and Ken Yow will remind you of what real 1930’s ragtime and blues sounded like; this band loves the “old way,” and they’ll show you what singin’ the blues is all about. Make sure you get a seat – the show starts at 7 p.m., and you won’t want to miss it.
Graymatter – Friday, October 11th – 8 p.m.
Graymatter is a local favorite of ours for acoustic rock and Americana. We’re happy to welcome them back to the Pittsboro Roadhouse Stage this Friday, October 11th. Siblings Brad, Barry, and Bev, along with Bev’s husband Dave, have been performing together for more than 30 years. Their harmonies will blow you away, and their rock and roll spirit will keep you jammin’ along. Join us at 8 p.m. for dinner and another one of Graymatter’s awesome shows.
Rootzie – Saturday, October 12th – 8 p.m.
Gregory Blaine and Rootzie are another personal favorite here at the Roadhouse, and we can’t wait for them to perform this Saturday, October 12th. This group has been together for about ten years, and they always rock their raw and honest reggae and blues sound. This soulful, high energy band will keep you on your feet and entertained this Saturday, starting at 8 p.m. Don’t miss it!
