Locally Sourced Products
Local. We the people have voted, we want to support locally owned businesses, eat locally raised produce and meats, and strenghen local economies.
At the Pittsboro Roadhouse we are interested in sourcing as much of our restaurant’s needs locally, while having prices remain affordable, so we can stay in business. Below you’ll see a number of the locally sourced food, drinks and crafts.
We are pleased to be hiring and training over a dozen full or part-time people locally.
Food and Drink
Local products, produced and grown by smaller businesses, are subject to variables that larger businesses with a broader supply chain are more protected from:
Weather, flooding, drought, a production issue, seasonality, pricing…. are all reasons why both what we source and where we source it varies from week to week.
