One Enchanting Evening – A New Year’s Eve Gala

New Year’s Eve 2017

The world-class NC Revelers Orchestra has once again agreed to perform at the Pittsboro Roadhouse so you can dance your way into the New Year Hollywood style – like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire.

A nineteen piece orchestra on New Year’s Eve is nothing like a DJ, or even two or three DJs. A nineteen piece orchestra means you will have the time of your life, dancing the way the stars did in the fifties, for one magical evening. You’ll feel like you’re in the big city, New York, New York, or Washington DC, or Chicago, or LA. Only you’ll be in beautiful Chatham County where you can still see the stars at night.

Redeemed: Christian Music

redeemed-christian music in nc

Redeemed is a new North Carolina-based band that performs contemporary Christian music, but with a bit of an edge. The focus is on spreading God’s word through song.

Doors at 3:00. Show 4-6:30 PM. All donations and tips went to help the Raleigh Rescue Mission.

Ed Williams (singer/guitarist) formed the band in early 2015 after previously founding and fronting a popular Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young tribute band, Long Time Gone. Mark Helms, a former pastor and music minister, is the band’s acoustic guitarist / harmony singer. Mark also played banjo in Long Time Gone. Tom Blalock, whom Ed met at Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church where they both play in the church’s praise band, is the drummer/percussionist. Chris (Dez) Dezcowski was recruited from Long Time Gone to play bass/keys.
