“The Tokyo Rosenthal Program” Renewed for a Second Season

Flagship radio affiliate, WCHL, announced today that “The Tokyo Rosenthal Program” will be renewed for a second season beginning with an air debut of September 13th at 8 pm.
The Tokyo Rosenthal Program [TRP] is an Americana music show with live guests from all over the world performing before a live audience. Award winning singer-songwriter, Tokyo Rosenthal, is the host and performs as well. The show is recorded every Thursday night at The Pittsboro Roadhouse in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
The new season will begin recording on September 4th through November 20th, with one day off on November 6th.
The Music Loft of Carrboro sponsors the program and they have also renewed for the second season. The TRP is also distributed on other Americana radio stations and networks including Wrecking Ball Radio, CMR Nashville, and Wildman Steve Radio.
A video of each show is also available on You Tube courtesy of Jeff Philips of In Focus Studios.
“The response to the first season far exceeded my imagination and I’m really looking forward to the stellar guests we have lined up for Season Two,” said host Tokyo Rosenthal. “I must of course thank all of our affiliates, sponsors, The Roadhouse staff, Jeff Philips of In Focus Studios our videographer, and our Producer/Soundman Geo DeSocio.”
“We loved Season One and are excited to hear what’s in store for Season Two,” said WCHL General Manager Jan Bolick.
“It was a great opportunity for The Roadhouse to host the inaugural season of The Tokyo Rosenthal Program!” chimed in Greg Lewis, the owner of The Roadhouse. “It’s definitely exciting to be part of a live show recorded for radio syndication. Our guests enjoy it. We’re looking forward to Season Two and many more great Americana musicians.”
