Town of Pittsboro Christmas Parade 2012 – December 2, 2012

Sunday December 2, first Sunday, the Town of Pittsboro will hold its  Christmas Parade 2012.

This year, for the first time, the Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store will be participating with a Float. You heard right, a Float. Think Macy’s day parade. Think fun. And be sure to come out and see us.

The Christmas Parade starts at 3pm, at the Food Lion (630 East Street / Hwy 64) and will travel west before winding up at the Sheriff”s office.

The Pittsboro Roadhouse will be one of many fun floats!

Following the parade, between 4pm and 6pm the Pittsboro Roadhouse is having a tree decorating gathering with cookies and refreshments. Plan on coming with the whole family. Pictures with Santa (if he can make it!). Christmas crafts. Face painting. Soup samplers. Coffee.

The Pittsboro Town website has a link to registration information: register for the parade before 11/28/2012.

Realtor, Julie Roland’s blog is always keeping up with local events, and she’s listed several other Chatham County holiday events.
